Workspaces & demos
A workspace is a named bundle of:

| MCP servers | Which servers’ tools the model can use |
| Skills | Which skills are advertised |
| System prompt | Persona and rules |
| Starter prompts | One-click chips on an empty chat |
| Max agent steps | Upper bound on model ↔ tool round trips per message (default 12) |
| Generative UI | Whether the model gets the render_ui tool (default on) |
Create one per use case — “Support bot”, “SRE on-call”, “Sales demo: CRM” — and switch between them from the top bar. Chats remember which workspace they started in.
Demo mode checklist
Section titled “Demo mode checklist”- Starter prompts that show off your best flows, in the order you want to present them.
- Presenter mode — ⌘ . hides the sidebar and inspector and enlarges text. Toggle the inspector back with ⌘ I when you want to show “how it works”.
- Compare — run the same question on two models live.
- Command palette — ⌘ K to jump between workspaces, models and past chats without touching the mouse.
- Light theme for projectors — the sun/moon icon in the top bar.
Chat history
Section titled “Chat history”Chats are saved to ~/.moka/sessions/ (or $MOKA_HOME/sessions). Search them from the sidebar or the command palette. Each chat stores both what you saw and the exact model message history, so reopening a chat and continuing works exactly as before.
